Vacation 2006 - Puerto Villarta Mexico

So here I am, in the hotel lobby of the Marivel suites and resorts in beautiful Puerto Nuevo Mexico. And, it’s boring.

Everyday I do the same thing:
1. Have breakfast
2. Sit on the beach and drink beer (Sol, a local beer, maybe).
3. Have lunch
4. Sit on the beach and drink beer
5. Have dinner
6. Have after dinnner drinks
7. Sleep
8. repeat

I have read about places like this. The temperature is like 80 degrees all the time, the humidity has to be below 50%, and it’s like that every day. There are no clouds, there is no rain, there is a gentile breeze off the bay constantly cooling you. Overall, it’s unbelievable.

OK people, when I said I was bored, it was sarcasm!

iPod Video

Well, it’s been over a week since I took delivery of my 60Gb iPod Video. This is not my first use of an iPod, as this one replaces my Mini.

The most important thing, the sound quality, is still there so I am very satisfied with it and it’s ability to hold almost my entire music library. Everything else that it does is merely frosting on the cake to me. I did download some videos from iTunes, and the display is very sharp but it is a bit small. I don’t think I’d really want to watch a TV show or movie on it.

The battery life is great. I have not clocked it but I do know it’s longer than my Mini lasted.
