Writers Wanted
As a matter of fact, you don’t have to be a writer, I’m not.
I’m looking for people who are interested in writing an occasional blog entry. There are no deadlines or things like that, just an occasional post.
Since I don’t post that much, if I could find four or five other people who don’t post much, but still post once in a while, I figure that there would still be more new posts here to read more often. If you are interested, send me an e-mail at tdoffing at gmail dot com.

I hear this on the local news this morning. The surprising thing to me is that fans generally don’t want anything to happen to these four guys. Ask the same question a couple of months ago, and they would have all wanted to throw the book at them.
The difference? At the time of the incident, they hadn’t won a game, now they are in a winning streak, and the fans don’t want anything to disrupt that.
I am not a Vikings fan. I lost faith in the team a long time ago, year after year the team fails to get to the Super Bowl, no matter how good their season was. This has beaten me into submission, and I no longer care how the team performs.
Back to the case at hand. Personally, I don’t really care how well the team is doing, if something illegal occured, then there needs to be an investigation and if there is reason, trial and punishment. We let a great wide receiver go because we didn’t like his off field behavior, but the team wasn’t winning at the time.
Bottom line, if you do the crime, you do the time. No exceptions.
