Rare Meat

What do you have to do to get a rare steak at a resteraunt?

I like my steak rare, really rare. But it better not be cold, there is a big difference. I was at a resteraunt this afternoon for lunch, and I ordered my steak rare as usual. This probably would not be a big deal otherwise, but the rest of the group that I was with had their meals way before me. The waitress stated that someone took my steak instead of the medium-well one that they were supposed to, and that she figured that I would rather wait then have a medium-well steak. She was right, I would wait.

When the steak arrived I had a piece, and guess what, it was not rare, but medium-well or more. I didn’t say anything, as I was already hungry and I can eat a steak this well done, I just refer rare.

Oh well, I guess that I can still have a rare steak at home when I make it myself.
