How to write a blog.

I think that most people like to do things to the best of their ability. At least that has been my personal experience so far. Since I too like to try to do things as best I can, I am trying to improve the readership of this blog. I have it pinging all the major blog sites when I update, and I am also beaming it into space for people on other planets to read.

So, where can you fo to get advice on blog writing? How about blog authors? A Google search later and I was at this site. The author has some very good advice that seem to carry across most of the blogs that I read. They are generally observations written fairly well (I personally can’t write very well) that stick to one topic at a time.

I think this is what I am trying to do, but I am still sure that no one reads this blog.

One area where I have been really lacking is updating on a daily, or nearly daily basis. Part of that is the lack of any remotely interesting topic to write about. It’s a balance between quantity and quality. I suppose that I could start writing about politics, but there seems to be plenty of blogs out there covering that topic. Besides that, I tend to get too worked up when talking about politics, so I generally try to avoid it.

I guess at this point I will continue as I am, and if people pick up this blog and read it, they will. If they don’t, I will still continue to post my ramblings here for the aliens.
