God of War

Welcome to my first ever game review. One thing that you won’t get from my reviews are allot of technical detail or game information, but simply what I think of a game.

God of War is a game played in the third person. You are Kratos, a Spartan warrior. The game starts with your character plummeting to his death after jumping off a cliff. So the game is a flashback to three weeks prior to this event.

The game is highly addictive. It is a great blend betweed fighting and solving puzzles, and sometimes both. I have found myself trapped in areas for a half hour or more working on the solution on how to get out. The cleve r thing is that everything that you need to solve the puzzle will be available to you, but it isn’t always to obvious how it should be used. The most irritating puzzles for me are the typical “frogger” puzzles, where it’s all timing to get past. Thankfully there are very few of them.

I would highly reccomend this game for anyone, except the kids. There is blatant nudity, language, and not to mention a bloodbath around every other corner so you have been warned.
